External cedar blinds

Traditional exterior blinds, typically used on the roofs of greenhouses, prevent sunlight from reaching the glass which thereby improves cooling.

Suspended from the ridge, exterior cedar blinds operate by rolling down towards the gutter. In most cases they can be used with ridge ventilators.

Marston & Langinger hand-make them from naturally durable cedar with copper links.

They are easily installed and manually operated.
