Construction
Marston & Langinger doors are entirely made with carefully selected and seasoned solid hardwood. They are constructed with a superior technique incorporating twin mortice-and-tenon joints secured with water-resistant glue. After assembly they are trimmed to size and fine sanded, ready for installation and painting. No screws or dowels are used.

Strength
Because of our method of construction M&L doors are exceptionally strong. In a well-fixed frame, with the right hardware, a Marston & Langinger door can provide the strongest, most secure entrance door available in timber.

The details
Mouldings are worked from solid timber and perfectly mitred together. The door patterns used in conservation work will be indistiguishable from original period doors.

Packing and carriage
Doors are individually protected with hardboard on each face plus corner protectors and are shrink-wrapped. Glass is packed with protective inter-layers and packed in strong cardboard boxes surrounded with foam protection.
