Marston & Langinger was launched with just three people in 1978 who by converting a Victorian maltings in Fakenham, Norfolk, started a design studio and workshop. Peter Marston - the founder and now the principal owner - began the company with Adrian Langinger to create beautifully built glass rooms furniture and accessories that sympathetically link house and garden.

Today this vision is successfully realised serving customers around the world. Creating beautiful structures, and helping his clients to embrace them as family rooms, Peter Marston and his team work from both inside and out, making and combining furniture, accessories, textures and color to create workable, liveable spaces.

As it approaches its thirtieth anniversary, the company has grown with stores and studios in London, New York and Dublin, and the Fakenham workshops has 120+ employees. M&L has achieved an enviable reputation as the market leader in the manufacture of custom-made timber-and-glass conservatories, orangeries pool-houses and greenhouses. Marston & Langinger has developed its home products that now include furniture, lighting, shading, accessories, textiles, and M&L's own-label eco-friendly paints.
